They are exclusively built in stone and wood materials to match their surroundings. It was initially built in the mid 1800’s and was used as a kitchen-dinning room while inside the well they kept cheese products and wine due to the temperature difference.

Each maisonette has a fully equipped kitchen with a complete set of cutlery and cookware, a dining room and a sitting area with a fireplace, Smart TV and CD/DVD player. They consist of 1 bedroom, bathroom, and a living area with sofa beds for extra accommodation. All dwellings have their private courtyard or balcony with traditional outdoor furniture, while some have a rooftop terrace with panoramic views.

Location: The traditional settlement of Samonas is a complete renovated neighborhood in the village of Samonas, in the district of Apokoronas Crete, at an altitude of 400 m and at a distance of 20km south-east of Chania. The settlement is built on a hill slope and it has such an orientation that it offers an impressive mountain, valley and sea view from all houses. Looking over from the property’s location, you get the impression that you could touch the Cretan White Mountain and dive into the vast Cretan sea at the same time.
