The Samonas Traditional Villas is a running business that consists of 5 fully equipped, independent, stone houses built on a piece of land of  870sqm. Here you will have the chance to get unique experiences during the whole year. The villas are close to mountains of extreme natural beauty with rare kinds of flora. Every visitor has the ability to approach these beauties, if he wishes, either by car, on foot or by bicycle provided free here. Trekking or hiking the cretan mountains can be the highlight of your vacation.

Each maisonette has a fully equipped kitchen with a complete set of cutlery and cookware, a dining room and a sitting area with a fireplace, Smart TV and CD/DVD player. They consist of 1 bedroom, bathroom, and a living area with sofa beds for extra accommodation. All dwellings have their private courtyard or balcony with traditional outdoor furniture, while some have a rooftop terrace with panoramic views.

Location: The traditional settlement of Samonas is a complete renovated neighborhood in the village of Samonas, in the district of Apokoronas Crete, at an altitude of 400 m and at a distance of 20km south-east of Chania. The settlement is built on a hill slope and it has such an orientation that it offers an impressive mountain, valley and sea view from all houses. Looking over from the property’s location, you get the impression that you could touch the Cretan White Mountain and dive into the vast Cretan sea at the same time.

Ideally spot for those who are looking for relaxation, in a safe and quiet area in the nature, but at the same time not far away from big cities and and busy touristic areas in case you  would like a city break or nightlife.  Surrounded by mountains, but with sea view, you can find almost everything in a short distance. Nice beaches, rivers and lake, caves, gorges, archaeological sites, authentic character villages, traditional tavernas, but big city with modern facilities, shops, bars and restaurants as well.
